Somerset Council

We were successful in a 2025 procurement process and have recently commenced providing services across the county of Somerset on behalf of the County Council.

Working mainly within the elderly community across the county of Gloucestershire, we provide a range of Minor Adaptations services/fittings inside and outside the home. People with disabilities are also eligible for these services including children.

Necessary works are identified by Health or Social Care Professionals to meet individual needs (in line with the Care Act 2014).

These works are aimed ensuring that those referred for fittings across Somerset are able to remain safe in their homes rather than be obliged to consider alternative or supported accommodation.

The remit is to provide a person-centred service that is responsive, coordinated, focused, and specific to each individual Service User, to improve their outcomes.

Twin objectives are to maximise independent living for Service Users and improve their safety and health and well-being.

The fact that we have Operatives and Office Personnel trained as Level 3 Assessors means that we can enter discussions regarding requested fittings. Our personnel can give qualified, professional opinions regarding the works we are asked to do.
